Sekhmet is a retired but lively lady. I am named after an ancient Egyptian lion-headed goddess, but I'm a mellow lion, unlike my namesake. I love my friends; my cats; treasures such as beads, books and pictures; and spiritual pursuits.

What do I do in my retired life? Keep very busy, that's what. I maintain email lists for three groups. And I maintain a Sufi website for the Denver/Boulder (Colorado) area. Volunteer work – helping people who need a ride to the doctor or the store. I do data entry once a month for a bereavement center. I go to Sufi, Vedic and Jungian groups - that's three times a week, at least. It is my joy to do this. And I listen to progressive radio; I'm a liberal in my mind and vote.
